The few we have taken in!!

The days of our lives!!! Rock band has consumed our lives (and living room) for the last month or so. Its pretty cool to watch and it's awesome having the teenagers over. It's funny how serious they are about it. This night Ladonna's friends made dinner for our family so they could start earlier. Got to take what you can get!

Boys swimming at the Kayler. Its a big indoor pool that is on the top floor. It has a dome so you can see outside.

The boys playing the Wii. I have to admit it is pretty fun. August beat logan and I at bowling.

Logan and August at the Honkers game. Even though they lost we had front row seats. There was even a guy assigned to get us everything we need. What a treat!

Hanging out with the boys!

Here are a few pictures of the boys at the rally. They got to ride in the limo through town as 1200 bikers followed.

Pics I promised!!! Last couple days of Excitement

August First Airplane ride. I think he was more excited about the 4 hours of game boy he was going to be able to play.
Here August and I are coming off the plane. August see's Logan and takes off running. Good thing i'm right behind him picking up everything he dropped.

Logan and Dr. Ruth came and picked august up at the airport. It was really nice of her. Here they are waiting for August and I to arrive.

Day two in Minnesota - Tuesday

Today we had to get up early because Logan's first appointment was at 9 am. We walked to his appointment and then on our way back we had to get a few groceries. We had to carry our groceries 3 blocks up hill!!!! boy, we were tired when we got to the house. We made ourselves lunch and got our swimming stuff ready. After Logan's second appointment we went across the street to the Kayler to swim. On our way up the elevator we saw the Huskies (AAA baseball team). They were in town to play the Minnesota Honkers. We told them we hoped they lose. Ha ha!!!! We swam for an hour or so and was so tired we walked all the way back to the house. We showered and got ready for bed and Amy at the house gave us tickets to go see the Honkers play baseball. We decided we were going to go so we got ready and August had his first taxi ride. We got to the game and had seats on the first row right behind the catcher. We were so tired that we left in the ninth inning. Honkers lost 3 to 2 but it was still a good game. We stayed up watching movies till 11:30. We were so so so tired.

First Day in Minnesota!

Our First day in Minnesota was a little crazy. August and I had to wake up at 5:15 from our hotel in Las Vegas to catch our airplane. We got running behind and barely made it to the airport with 1 hr before our plane left. August wasn't feeling very well and being drug through the airport on a Sunday Morning with a stomach ache was a nightmare ( I now know what you moms go through). We boarded our plane (August first commercial flight) and were lucky enough to sit right behind a screaming baby. Fifteen minutes into a 4 hr flight August asked if we were there yet. I knew I had a long road ahead.
We finally made it to Rochester Minnesota. Logan, My mom, and Logans doctor were all waiting for us. August was so glad to see logan after going weeks of just talking on the phone. Logan's Dr. Dropped us off at the Ronald McDonald house and we were able to get settled in. At 4pm the house was doing its annual fundraiser motorbike ride. Almost 2,000 bikes showed up with a little over 3,000 riders. Logan and August(Ronald McDonald kids) got to ride in a limo through the town with all the bikes following them. They got to wave out the windows and truly felt they were movie stars. The rally raised over $100,000 for the house. Yay!!!!! After the rally we were so tired we went to bed early because Logan had a 9 am appointment.

I forgot my cord to my camera so I will post pictures as soon as I can get one!!!!

Logan at the Mayo Clinic

Logan has gone to Minnesota for his annual speech therapy. He works so hard and learns so much. We are missing him really bad. In a couple of days August and I will fly out to go see him. I told Logan he can't do anything fun until we get there. I don't think he was listening to me.

Logan sure is special to our family. He works very hard at the opportunities he has to speak better.

Logan I can't wait to get there and pinch your love handles!!!!

Story Time

Sam tells the boys stories at night and they get so into them. I think this story was the three little pigs (of course he adds his own little flare)!!

Sam helped Logan and the kids build a bird house before he flew of to Minnesota. We sure are going to miss him for a couple of weeks until August and I get to fly back and see him.

Trip to Vegas

We went to vegas to let the kids hang out. Val, Bre, and Logan came also.

Water time!!!!

I love watching the kids have so much fun in the water. We have a big water slide that they play on almost every day.
